Lansvale
Lansvale is the name of the suburb that is located in the state of New South Wales of Sydney Australia. It is located 28 kilometres in the southwest portion of the central business district of Sydney which is one the other side of Chipping Norton and its lake. It is within the Fairfield city local government areas. And this is a part of the South western region of Sydney. The suburb uses a postcode 2166. The different suburbs that are located around Lansvale include Canley Vale, Cabramatta, Warwick Farm, Chipping Norton, Georges Hall, Lansdowne and the Carramar. The Lansvale is under the Fowler federal division.
The suburb Lansvale got its name from the two neighbouring suburbs of Canley Vale and Lansdowne. The area where the suburb stands was the famous recreational site during the twentieth century. Names like the Latty’s Pleasure Grounds, Hollywood Park, the Butterfly Hall and the Lansdowne Reserve are just some of the few popular sites within the lakes and river system. But when the Great Depression hit the country all the amusement parks struggled just to continue its operation. Until all the land that they occupy went to the council for public reserves. And in 1908 the first game of the Rugby League of football in Australia was played in Lansvale. There was also the Lansdowne Bridge that is made up of sandstone built between 1834 and 1836. And David Lennox designed and supervised the construction of this bridge.
As for the suburb’s climate it usually rains during May and it is usually dry during January. It slowly gets hotter in February and it starts to get colder in the month of July. But this climate changes might not be similar as what the suburb experienced this year. Due to the different environmental issues like the global warming it is hard to know what to expect on certain months.
The famous Magic Kingdom amusement park is located in Lansvale this was on active operation from 1970 until 1990. The suburb is well known for the different parks that operated during the early twentieth century. There are also a lot of attractions available in the area that makes it perfect vacation spot for tourist. There are still different landmarks like the Lansdowne Bridge that is now listed on the Register of the National Estate. There are also a lot of restaurant and museum that is available in the area that highlights all the events in history and other great pieces on display.
The suburb is also complete with a public school and a hospital that locals can easily access. There are also a lot of activities that visitors can enjoy in doing while they are in Lansvale.
