History
There was a sub-group in the tribe of Gandangara where called the Cabrogal tribe which are aboriginal people who lived in Fairfield for more than 30 000 years. Aboriginal people are those that are indigenous to the most part of Australia. It was in the 9th century where the European settlement arrived and lived in the area. In 1950 Mrs. Beard filed an application to build a post office in the area but there were just not enough people. It was only in 1955 where the application was approved due to the increase of population in the place thus the first post office was opened in the said area.
