Eagle Vale
Eagle Vale located in the New South Wales State Sydney Australia is a suburb. It is located about 56 kilometres south west of the Sydney central business district. It is in the City of Campbelltown government area and is considered to be part of the Macarthur region. The name is often incorrectly spelt thinking that it is only one word as Eaglevale instead of two. The suburb is bordered by Kearns, Eschol Park, Raby, Woodbine, Blairmount, St Andrews and Claymore. The total population of the suburb was recorded to reach 5,590 in their 2006 census and the postcode of the location is 2558.
The place was established in 1976. Due to the European settlement there are many new settlements that were established to the south west of Sydney. And to be able to continue to supply enough place to put any of their agricultural demand such as farming and raising livestock. The increase in demand is also due to the growing colony. The settlements were subsequently divided up and given away in the form of land grants to settles. On one grant includes 100 acres of land. One was given to Thomas Clarkson on the western hills of Campbelltown. After his death his property was sold to Jemima Jenkins on 1826. She was the one who changed the name of the place to Eagle farm. She then used the address Eagle farm, Eagle Vale. The name of Eagle Vale originated from the two creeks that ran though the property.
It is hard to determine the climate change around this area but it is usually have the similar hottest day in the month of January and then experience the coldest temperature as early as July. And usually the heaviest rain will fall on the month of February. But there is a huge possibility that it will change on the year ahead.
There is a shopping centre that’s been opened in 1995 and features the Woolworths supermarket and some speciality shops. There is a police station that was added in the year 2000. And the Eagle Vale Leisure Centre had opened in 1993 to be used as a multipurpose gym. And in 2003 the Eagle Vale Branch Library has opened its doors and has added a south wing to the rebranded Eagle Vale Central. There’s a public school which was opened in 1984 the Eagle Vale High School. And a private Catholic primary school the Mary Immaculate which opened its doors in 1986.
There is a continued increasing number of residents coming into the Eagle Vale and with all the development that the suburb is experience only shows that the people are doing great in the suburb. There are a lot of families and new residents that adds to the population every year.
